Some suggest this is because the older generations are less digitally savvy than younger generations, but we disagree.
Age is just a number. Seniors are constantly learning new tech and trends, right along with their younger counterparts. There’s been a recent increase in popularity among elderly influencers. Baddie Winkle is just one social media influencer over 90 years old that is thriving with 3.4 million followers on Instagram.
At Open Influence, we want to feature talented creators of all ages in this “Creator Spotlight” series. This week, we want to introduce you to another senior social media sensation, Lillian Droniak.
She’s known online as Grandma Lill. She, and her 22-year-old grandson, have been making YouTube videos since 2012. Their channel has over half a million followers. In November of 2019, Kevin made Grandma Lill a TikTok account — and it went viral.
