Decoding Influence: Clubhouse and The Rise of Audio Content

This entry was posted in Strategy on .

We are back with another episode of our podcast Decoding Influence! This time, Eric Dahan (CEO, Open Influence) talks about the latest craze in social media: Clubhouse.

Clubhouse is an audio-only app that allows people to listen and participate in conversations in real-time. There’s no audio archive and users are not allowed to record content when participating in rooms as listeners. The app, which is still in its beta version,  is currently only available on iOS and users can only join by invitation. This invite-only approach has prompted a wave of FOMO and has contributed to its early success.

Want to know more about it!?

Join Eric and his guests, David Bloom (journalist, strategist and CEO of Founder/CEO, Words & Deeds Media) and Sierra Moore (Creative Director, Open Influence), as they discuss the many opportunities that Clubhouse has to offer.

In this episode, you will hear about:

  • The 20 year in the making, overnight success of audio content.
  • Monetization opportunities for creators on Clubhouse.
  • Influencer marketing opportunities on Clubhouse.
  • Clubhouse predictions and emerging opportunities in the audio space.
