We’re an OMMA Finalist!

Open Influence is proud to announce we are a finalist for the 2019 OMMA Awards, which recognizes excellence in creativity and marketing each year. But we weren’t just nominated for one category… our campaign received TWO nominations: Best Influencer Campaign and Best Interactive Campaign!

To promote the release of Universal Picture’s horror-thriller, MA, Open Influence created a week-long influencer campaign that mirrored the film’s terrifying plot. Four creators – and real life friends – participated in an extended skit in which they meet a mysterious stranger, and must grapple with her increasingly disturbing behavior.

Open Influence is known for making bold creative choices, and our work with Universal Pictures is a prime example. Not only that, but our video case study was equally inventive. Instead of a traditional voiceover, we recruited influencer Landon Moss (from the very campaign itself) to describe our chilling plan in detail. Click below to see this 2x award-nominated campaign:
