Sales Director / Sr. Account Executive
Open Influence, the leader in Influencer Marketing, is looking for a Sales Director / Sr. Account Executive in both Chicago and Los Angeles to join our high performing sales team. The primary responsibility is to drive and grow new business revenue from brands and their agencies. The ideal candidate is a charismatic seller with a track record of acquiring and managing new accounts, creating unique and valuable partnership proposals, and executing plans that meet/exceed partner expectations. Candidates for this position are highly motivated, self-assured team players with strong digital and social media skills. You will be a part of a high caliber team in an industry that is experiencing rapid and dramatic growth. This is a high velocity, client facing sales role requiring deep industry expertise and a proven ability of closing large deals.

Role & Responsibilities:
· Proactively prospect, qualify, and close new accounts
· Strategically and creatively build a pipeline and maintain a high level of activity
· Independently research and prospect using a variety of techniques including online research, networking and active participation in industry events
· Develop innovative ideas and influencer marketing solutions for advertisers and their digital and PR agencies
· Create persuasive sales presentations using market trends and case studies
· Effectively communicate sales pipeline and consistently exceed sales goals by closing new accounts and upselling existing ones
· Work closely with Creative, Account Management and Talent Relations teams to ensure successful campaign execution
· Act as an internal advocate for your clients by providing strategic market feedback and participating in product development initiatives

Requirements:
· 3-5 years of digital sales experience with a track record of meeting/exceeding revenue goals
· Team player with exceptional presentation and communication skills, and an ability to help partners understand the unique value of Open Influence, and persuade them to tap into the power of our platform
· Fluency in digital and social media. Influencer Marketing experience is a plus
· Track record working with large brands and media agencies, including concepting and selling creative ideas to senior decision makers
· Well regarded in the marketplace with a network of contacts among relevant potential partners
· Proficiency with Salesforce, Excel and PowerPoint
· BA or BS degree or equivalent experience
· High energy, positive attitude, and a sense of humor

Based in N.Y., you will be the flagship team member/s of our growing creative team (based in L.A.) and be responsible for helping to grow and redefine the companies creative capabilities and offering. You will work autonomously but collaborate continuously with the larger creative team and report directly to the E.C.D. You will work on brands based across the world but predominantly support the East Coast and UK creative opportunities.

Role & Responsibilities:

· You will be responsible for developing, drafting, and pitching creative strategies as well as be hands on with creative production by helping develop content that drives fan engagement

· You might travel for any in-person client meetings with the sales team to provide on-site support

· You will also work closely with members of the marketing team to achieve shared goals

Requirements:

· MUST have a thorough understanding of most social media platforms (in order of importance) Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, Snapchat, Twitter, Twitch, Tik Tok, and Blogs

· Must have experience working with Adobe creative suite – Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere and After Effects (a major plus!)

· Must have experience working with Keynote/PowerPoint

· Microsoft Word

· Be extremely detail oriented and organized

· Passionate about creative and a student of the craft

· A strong communicator and great at team collaboration

· Open to feedback and thrive in pressured situations

Candidates for this position are highly motivated, self-assured team players with strong client and social media skills. You will be a part of a high caliber team in an industry that is experiencing rapid and dramatic growth. This is a high velocity, client-facing sales role requiring deep industry expertise and a proven ability for closing advertising deals.

 Role & Responsibilities:

· Team player with exceptional presentation and communication skills, and an ability to help partners understand the unique value of Open Influence, and persuade them to tap into the power of our platform

· Fluency in digital media with a strong understanding of social media platforms

· Knowledge of the paid social media space/influencer marketing is a MAJOR plus.

· Track record working with large brands and media agencies, including developing and selling creative ideas to senior decision makers

· Well regarded in the marketplace with a network of contacts among relevant potential partners

· Proficiency with Salesforce, Keynote & Microsoft Office

· BA or BS degree or equivalent experience

· High energy, positive attitude, and a sense of humor (foodies are a plus!)
